Hall of Shame

If we have a HOF, it’s only appropriate to add a  Hall of Shame. It’s a humbling thing, having everyone vote on your shoe wardrobe, but sometimes you just have to admit where you went wrong. Or at least, where you went wrong when you decided to keep a pair of flash-in-the-pan trendy shoes past one season. These shoes not only will be going into the shoe graveyard, but have a dismal approval rating, garnering a ‘worst of the bunch’ Hall of Shame induction. You put them here…and really, I don’t blame you.

These beautes from Day 15 not only gave me shoe anxiety, but got great comments like, ‘You look like a stormtrooper.’ Just the look I always go for, don’t you?

Caramel leather lifts

The next pair inducted a bit late, I know, are these, um, gorgeous caramel leather wedges from Day 39. I can’t say I’m sad to see them go. Even if I loved them, the discomfort would have been enough to justify their sentence. So glad we agree.

Comfortable natural-colored shoes, on location

Once again you the people have added a pair of wedges to my Hall of Shame…I’m beginning to notice a trend. Not to worry, I don’t take this lightly and have realized my love affair with wedges will most likely have to end. Here, the pair from Day 49 in neutral nude shade, which I’m also beginning to suspect as a choice for shoes.

Black flats, happy red interiors

The first pair of flats to be inducted to the HOS, from Day 72. Another non-surprise for me, I knew these would be voted out but was rather impressed with the number of you (80%+) who chose to oust them. They served their purpose and I’m now happy to see them go…like the boots above, I dreaded trying to come up with an outfit to wear these with.

How many more will be added… only time will tell.
